Welcome to a romantic flower garden. Three dimensional flowers adding structure and life in materials like organza, metallic or pearls. Intense texture, femininity and raw elegance. Even though the cold is coming, the flower is here to stay!

Casual Denim

Top: SuiteBlanco , Shorts: ZARA , Shoes: & Other Stories , Bag: Vintage , Watch: Casio, Bracelet: MONO&ME , Ring: H&M , Sunglasses: H&M

Who doesn't own a pair of denim shorts? I think it's very few who don't. The denim short is such a multifunctional piece. You can literally use it to everything, day and night all year around. I can't come up with anything that won't work with them. I like mine a bit loose-fitted, and favourable high-waisted.

The ones I wear today are a pair of stone-washed, loose-fitted from Zara. I combined them with my super comfortable espadrilles in suede from & Other Stories. I had been looking for platform espadrilles quite some time, so you can imagine that I was happy when I found these ones. Yes that's right, so I got them in black as well :)

Converse x Maison Martin Margiela

I love collaborations between high-end fashion brands and main stream brands. Why, you ask? For me it's very interesting to see how the high-end brands interpret their design language, that usually consist of a higher budget, to the main stream brand that is available for the 'public'.

Th limited collection may not seem like a huge different from the normal white Converse, but don´t let the eye fool you. First of all the shoes are hand-painted in the Maison Martin Margiela iconic white paint. Second and what differentiate the collection is that underneath the white paint there are a colour to be revealed. As the sneaker is worn, the outer colour will crack and reveal one of the following colours; red, black, navy and yellow.

The shoes were released the 20th of September in selected Converse and Margiela stores, so all you fans out there, it's time to run to the stores before they sell out :)

Diesel Black Gold A/W 2013

Leather, leather and more leather in hues of black and white...That's how I would summarize the collection for Diesel Black Gold designed by Andreas Melbostad.

I just fell in love with all the pieces for Fall. So simple but yet so elaborated. Simple aesthetics that follows the body like a second skin. Talking about second skin, the leather pieces are just to die for. Studs in silver and black are adding that extra spice to the clean lines.  It's rock, it's chick, it's absolutely amazing!

By the way Andreas Melbostad will also be responsible for the men collection for autumn/winter 2014.

Here are my favourites from the collection.

Ellery

Lately my eyes have opened for Australian designers that I never heard about before. I have come across several that I personally feel are amazing. Their design language really attracts me, with a lot of architectural influences, simple silhouettes but yet very elaborated.

One of the brands that really impressed me is Ellery, designed by Kym Ellery. The label was founded in 2007, and has been growing since. I love the Fall collection that is full of architectural pieces in sheer materials and leather. The main colors are white and black. The silhouettes are simple but the cut and draping details adds that extra touch to the clothes. The collection is androgynous but yet very feminine. The clothes are very flattering for the body and I love the length of the skirts and dresses.

Though I loved all the pieces, here are my favorites.

Flower Prints

Flowers generally makes people happy in any kind of form they come in. For me flowers add a romantic touch to the clothes but can also transform to something more edgy. Combine with a pair of chunky boots, a pair of sandals, high-heels or just some trainers. I choose to combine my flower dress with a pair of converse for a more dressed down approach.

Dress: bimba & lola , Shoes: Converse , Bracelets: H&M , MONO&ME , Watch: Casio

Clover Canyon Fall 2013

Hi everyone!

I wanted to start with colors and prints for my first post. I myself love both as it lights up the day and makes me happy, especially when it gets darker and grayer during autumn.

I wanted to introduce the amazing brand Clover Canyon which is designed and produced in California, USA. The collection is joyful, vivid and full of wonderful colors and prints that follows the shape of the body. For me the collection works as well during the day as at night. Throw on a pair of trainers for a more casual look or boots to add that extra spice.

You can see more about their beautiful collection here

The September Issue

September is the month when at lot of things are happening. It's the month of the Fashion shows, beginning in New York, the city that never sleeps to move on to London then Milan and ends up in Paris. As the fashion industry always is one step ahead the collections on the runways are for spring/summer 2014.

September is also the month when all the fashion magazines highlights upcoming trends for the fall. I personally love the September issue as it usually arrives with a 'fashion bible' that summarizes all the shows.

September is also the month when I start to have the urge to store my summer clothes and unpack for  the fall. Don't get me wrong though, I LOVE summer.

As spring is yet far away, let's start talking about autumn/winter 2013.

The Beginning....

Hi everyone!
So....who am I? My name is Isabella Pozzi, Swedish/Italian living in Barcelona. My background is in fashion and so is my work. My friends have always said to me that I should start a blog. To be honest I don't know why I haven't yet. Maybe it's time... it's never to late, right?

I have always had a huge interest for fashion. Not only fashion in the sense of clothes, but the history behind it, how trends comes and goes, to then return and how the way you dress recflects the mood your in.

In StyleSpectra I will talk about everything from what inspires me to brands I like, upcoming designers, outfits and much more.....

I welcome you to my world and I hope you will like it :)
